Lauren Flans is madly, passionately in love with comedy. A graduate of Northwestern University, Lauren has been writing and performing sketch and improv comedy for over a decade, including three and a half years in Amsterdam with the improv/sketch comedy theater Boom Chicago (Seth Meyers; Jason Sudeikis; Jordan Peele; I am name-dropping). During her time in Holland, Lauren was also the on-the-street correspondent for Comedy Central Netherlands’ version of The Daily Show in a nightly segment named “Flans on the Street.” Lauren regularly performs with Mission IMPROVable, and has studied and performed at The Groundlings, iO West, The Second City, and UCB L.A. among others. She also writes and performs with her sketch/musical comedy group Lost Moon Radio, winners of the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival. A regular on the Los Angeles comedy rap circuit, Lauren has an EP entitled “6 Rap Songs That Changed History,” and can currently be seen on MTV2 in the new season of Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out. She feels weird talking about herself in the third person, so she is going to stop now.
